Spring Gift Bags

Community

By Nancy Ogrod

It is time again to remember the special women and men of Hidden Valley House and Interfaith’s transitional and senior housing as we prepare gift bags for a Mother’s Day or Father’s Day treat.  Each bag will contain lotions, soaps, shampoos and items to show each lady and man how special they are to the residents of Hidden Meadows and Rimrock.

You may drop off your collected goodies (little soaps, little lotions, tooth brushes, toothpaste, etc.) at the Ogrod residence, 28105 Mountain Meadow Road, any time after Wednesday, April 19.  If no one is at home, please leave them on the front porch. The following items are also appreciated – travel size men’s shaving cream and aftershave, men’s body wash and razors.  The care products not used in the bags will be donated to various shelters in the north county area.

And if you’d like to help assemble the gift bags, come to 28105 Mountain Meadow Road on the morning of Thursday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m.  Bags, tissue and ribbon will be provided, as well as coffee, tea & goodies for the workers. It’s a wonderful way to share time together and there’s always room for more.  Linda Kennedy and Sharon Cook will be the hostesses for this event.
