The paintings are on display at the Oaks Grill.

The Escondido Creek Conservancy (ECC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving important open space areas surrounding the Escondido Creek Watershed.  They do this by buying up land that might otherwise be sold to developers of large housing developments. The ECC is currently raising money to purchase a 1000 acre parcel of unspoiled land just of Hidden Meadows.

Last month, the Hidden Meadows Artisan Guild hosted a “plein air” painting event on that property to raise awareness and funds for the ECC’s endeavors.  Four of the artists donated their paintings from that day.  Proceeds from any sales of the paintings will be donated to support the Hidden Meadows project.  The paintings, all watercolors, are currently on display at the Oaks Grill on Meadow Glen Way East.
