The Deer Springs Fire Safe Council is inviting community residents to its annual membership meeting on Saturday, February 4, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Meadows Homes Association Pavilion, 10141 Meadow Glen Way East.

The Fire Safe Council is a volunteer organization formed to educate Deer Springs Fire Protection District residents about fire safety. The council cooperates with the Deer Springs Fire Protection District, CAL FIRE and neighboring communities to make the community safer in the event of a wildfire.

The board will update the membership on the Fire Safe Council’s accomplishments during 2016 and discuss goals for 2017.

Refreshments will be served.
