3rd Annual Trunk or Treat

Community

Hidden Meadows’ 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat is fast approaching!! Since Halloween falls on a Tuesday, Trunk-or-Treat will be held on Saturday, October 28th from 3:30pm-5:00pm at the Pavilion parking lot.
What is a Trunk-or-Treat? It’s a super fun way for kids to go trick or treating in a safe and flat area while it’s still light out. People from the community come to the parking lot with their cars or other vehicles festooned with Halloween decorations and then hand out candy to the kids who move from “trunk to trunk” to get their treats.
Many of us live where there are no trick-or-treaters on Halloween; we invite you to join us as well to see all the kids in the costumes. It is also a great event to mingle and meet neighbors! We had over 270 Meadowites attend last year’s event and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again this year!
This event is not possible without community involvement, however. We need your trunks!
We have 23 spaces in the Pavilion parking lot for people to hand out their spooky treats! Don’t miss this opportunity. Have fun decorating your car, truck bed, golf cart, tractor or whatever you can drive to the Pavilion. Grab a friend and decorate your trunk together. Pinterest has some awesome and easy ideas.
