The Hidden Meadows Garden Club and the Hidden Meadows Community Foundation invite you to the Community Garden Tour on Sunday, May 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Seven local homeowners will proudly open their yards to be viewed by the community.  One garden features a professionally designed and installed landscaping in a Southwest style, with lots of rocks and cacti.  One property features specialty gardens, a vegetable garden, and hundreds of succulents, perennials and trees planted in a natural style.  Another is a hillside lot featuring lots of draught tolerant and native vegetation and succulents.  While still another has winding paths, patios and potted succulents throughout and includes a producing vineyard.  The vineyard will offer wine tasting to those who can prove legal age and will also offer craft sales.

That same day, a Mother’s Day Craft & Gift Boutique will be held at the Pavilion from Noon until 4:00 p.m. and will spotlight artisans displaying their handmade crafts that will make wonderful gifts for Mom the following Sunday, May 14.  Begin your afternoon at the Boutique, where registration and maps to the Garden Tour will be available.  The tour cost is $15 per person or $25 for two.  The money raised by the tour will go toward student scholarships, community beautification and more.  Celebrate Mother’s Day early by taking your mom on this tour of beautiful Hidden Meadows gardens, while enjoying a lovely spring afternoon.  We hope to see you soon.  For information about selling at the Boutique, please contact Joanne Anglin at  For information about the Garden Tour, please contact Lisa Lonsdale at
