Several dozen homes located throughout Hidden Meadows participated in last year’s community garage sale.  The event attracted buyers from inside as well as outside the neighborhood.

This year’s sale will take place on Saturday, May 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 1 pm    The event has been promoted in both the Hidden Meadows News and on NextDoor.  Additionally, we will be advertising in Craig’s List a week before and there will be signs at the bottom of the hill and at the main entrance to Hidden Meadows.

Buyers will be able to pick up a map showing the addresses of participating homes with the types of items for sale at each address.  The maps will be located in a box at the four-way stop intersection of Mountain Meadows Road and Meadow Glen Way East.

Several families have already signed up to participate as sellers, and we’re still taking sign-ups.  With these kinds of events, the more the merrier!  There is NO COST to participate!  In order to get your address and information on the flyer, we need to hear from you soon.  The deadline to sign up is May 4th by 6:00 p.m.  Please send an email to jennhill68@gmail.com or call me at (760) 484-4121.

We encourage all sellers to attract buyers to their homes by putting up a few colorful signs (with their address) along the roads leading up to their house, plus one directly in front.  It’s also makes it easier to close sales if you have plenty of change on hand.  You can find additional tips on conducting a good garage sale from the following site:  http://www.garagesales.com/garage-sale-tips-for-sellers.
