A new holiday tradition for the Meadows?

Community

Imagine yourself arriving at a lovely home somewhere in Hidden Meadows and being met by a friendly group of a dozen or more Meadowites – some existing friends and other new faces. While you sip a nice wine or non-alcoholic beverage, you fill up a plate with a selection of delectable appetizers and engage in gay repartee with the other partygoers.
Soon it’s time to retreat to your cars, and you drive off to a different lovely home for an intimate sit-down dinner with a new, smaller group of merrymakers. In this setting, you relax into comfortable conversation with the nice people next to you and find yourself enjoying the opportunity to get to expand and deepen your friendships with other Meadowites.
After you’ve finished the dinner, you and the others jump back into your cars and everyone heads over to the Oaks Bar and Grill. The clubhouse is festively decorated and a buffet is laid out with a variety of homemade desserts. A pianist is playing familiar Christmas tunes and soon everyone is enthusiastically singing along.
At the end of the evening you toddle back to your car feeling warm and satiated. You think to yourself, “That was delightful! What a wonderful place we live in!”
If that scenario sounds appealing to you, sign up for the Holiday Progressive Dinner being organized by the Hidden Meadows Community Foundation. The event will be held on Sunday, December 10, starting at 4:00 p.m.
Tickets are $50 per person for this elegant evening. However, an early bird special offers tickets for $40 a person if you sign up by November 15.
